Sun and sands

Do you see?
Golden sands. Blue seas. Seashells. Shades. Hats. Best friends.
Its summer 2010 :)
Before you realize, summer days will be long gone. On work days, you just cant wait for the summer, and then sooner than you think, you are getting bored during summer!!
Well, at least I did.
So we decided to hit the beach :)
Apart from the cool waters, jet-skiing, best friends and laughing uncontrollably.
I managed to get few decent shots, but just one is worth showing off... and that's how far my creative brain took me.

So there are few things, you must enjoy in this season despite the heat..
No.1 : Lemonade
Oh yes, feeling the ice cold, sugary lemon drink run down your throat...nothing can beat the heat better!
No.2 : Fall in love with anything and everything all over again
The sun, the scent in the summer breeze, nature, books, chocolates...
whatever you get to see, sense and smell...just fall in love.
No.3 : Enjoy the cherries
Cant resist them!! They are always the "in-fruit" in summer!! And yes, dont wipe the red juice dripping down to your elbows...hehe..gives the summer feeling (well, atleast to me)!
No.4 : Summer sale
Okay girls, hit the malls..nothing is better than getting your hands on happy, pretty colored clothes and bags on summer sale!
No.5 : Pause and bring forth your talent
Who knows, deep down inside...you maybe an actor, poet, artist etc... Its just the perfect season and reason to pause and discover yourself.
No.6 : Collect the sea shells
I discovered that a huge of collection of seashells in different shapes gives you beautiful necklace or a just a simple key ring. Depends on how innovative you get with them.
Well, so that's my list for a perfect summer :)
True that its extremely hot out there; I mean literally, its skin melting especially right here in the Middle East. For the beauty goddesses; forget the beautiful natural tan here. Its not worth the pain.

And for some reason, I have got a craving for that lemonade I talked about!!
So folks, catch you later!

beat the heat

Let your heart harbour love

Dont read this for the sake of reading...'cause it carries a message, a message when you think of, lets you find yourself in the darkest paths.

I happened to stumble upon this beautiful quote (below) laced with pure pearl like wisdom, and it really made me think.

Evil is always possible. And goodness is eternally difficult.
ANNE RICE (Interview with the Vampire)

It happens when the goodness is lost; the mind is poisoned and one can't think straight; when you have no mercy left in your heart.
Wrath, envy, revenge, pride...its hell let loose...

They say love is the cure to all evils, so why cant everyone love and be loved?
Beauty of your soul lays in a deep slumber and when you conquer your demons, it wakes up...It makes you beautiful inside out.
Your strangled feelings breathe. Sometimes its necessary to forgive yourself to forgive others...
Loving is not hard, forgiving is divine and your soul promises you peace within your heart.

And as the Arabian proverb goes ''If you have much, give of your wealth; if you have little, give of your heart.''
Trust me, it wont kill :)
Don't kill the good inside you. Nobody wants to die hated and unwanted.

Spread love and watch it get spread.

A beautiful blog :) (Here comes the bride)

Really heart melting (L)

Not that I know her, but feeling what others feel...it's a gift
From her words...
I felt what she felt

Happiness and sacrifice at the sametime..

Here comes the bride...

I'm not in denial anymore.
My sister, my best friend, my roommate for as long as I could remember is getting married tomorrow!

This piece of information hasn't made it way through the thick walls of my brain until now.. When I saw her lying in bed reading Qura'an, as one of her friends told her to read AlBaqara before her wedding. I asked how she was and she just said "good" then smiled to me as I took a picture of her with my phone.

That's when I realized what was really happening.
She's leaving us! She's leaving ME!
Those who know me know how much I love my sisters, they're my everything and I wouldn't imagine our house or my life without each one of them around.

They are my four incredibles!

And now I'm so close to breaking down..

My sister is the one who first heard many of my horrible confessions.

She has the most annoying alarm clock that wakes me up and not her even though it's literally stuck to her ear, she only wakes up when I whisper her name and tell her to turn it off and she actually looks at me grudgingly as if I was the reason she was up.

She uses my bed on weekdays as an extra desk, since I'm only home on weekends. I come home to find her bags, books, boxes, sometimes even food on my bed!

She's so messy! So so messy. I go complain to my mom about how the room is a disaster because she doesn't want to get rid of anything and mama would say "yeah she got this from your father who never throws away anything.".

We share most of our clothes but I'd wear a black shirt dress with vintage gold earrings and nude-pink bow heels and she'd wear it with funky colorful accessories and her shiny heels. Each one of us has a very different taste and we look nothing alike.

She loooves to imagine me marrying a "6e3si" and goes on and on forever, making up conversations and scenes, laughing so hard until we're both out of jokes.

She's not a fan of cooking but if she bakes a simple cake you have to praise it for 3 hours and a half or she starts pouting.

She teases me a lot and then eventually go "okay okay don't cry wallah amza7".

She knows me too well and always predicts what I'm going to say next or what I'm thinking.

She always speaks her mind. And you can never win a conversation with her.

She's an artist, a journalist, a writer, a designer, and love struck ;)
My sister, I love you to death. I wish you the very best and this hubby of yours had better be perfect and awesome and amazing and extremely nice to you or he'd have to deal with the serial killer I'm planning to pay all my savings!

A new beginning

I am ready and my journey; it begins here.

Writing my journey....interesting name I guess :)
Reason; life is a journey and the experiences I'm living are the beautiful scenarios that pass by

(not a poem metaphor) :P .
Well, I think its quite geeky!

Yet in short I would say : capturing each moment in words :)

So here I am ; joined the fascinating blog world. The idea of starting a blog never crossed my mind and even if it did, I rubbed away the thought as it came.

And what or who changed my mind?

Anna Fox!

(My banana sis) a pretty "vixen" in her twenty(ish) from Canada.
I met her last year, in my first semester at the university.
"Are you French?" Me
"No, I speak English" Miss.Fox
:D
And the rest they say is history( I'm not writing a novel, just admire this phrase a lot :P)
she turned out to be an amazing person with big dreams.
Too bad, our time together was cut short as she decided to leave for Canada.
Couple of weeks later, after her departure, I got a message with her blog link and it had a hidden note clearly shouting "Why not you"
Two days ago, I thought of it again and here is my first one. Well, as a weird with a disgusting style of writing journalist in making, guess this would help. :D
Welcome the princess :)

Since I would be writing a lot, let me introduce the 'Princess' me :)

Though I'm not a real life royal blood, the idea of being one has always been a dream....Yeah, I'm 19...what's your excuse :P
Maybe 'cause being a lot into fairy tales and Disney princesses has influenced me deeply.
Not being a snob; other reason could be that, according to my family history, my ancestors belonged to a royal family.

So in the end of the day, I do consider myself a princess! =D

I wouldn't go any further than this today.

Not quite impressive...I know...well, the best is yet to come :)
